Resources for Seniors

Information & Referral / Outreach

Williams County Department of Aging is an excellent resource for information on insurance, senior living options, Passport, and more. Please call Sarah Carothers at the Main Office with any questions 419-633-5054.

Telephone Reassurance Program

WCDA offers a daily call to seniors living alone. This program is run by volunteers who call daily at the same time to do a quick well being check. If seniors do not respond to the call, emergency contacts and law enforcement are asked to visit the home for a well check. To sign up for calls or to become a volunteer please contact Sarah Stubblefield at the Main Office 419-633-4317 or sstubblefield@wmsco.org. Please consider becoming a volunteer caller!

Equipment such as bath aids and walkers are available through a partnership with the Ability Center. For more information, call the Montpelier Senior Center at 419-485-3218.
