Karen K. Gallagher, Judge
The Honorable Karen Kampe Gallagher presides over the Williams County Common Pleas Court, Juvenile and Probate Divisions. The duties of the Judge include the oversight and disposition of all estates, trusts, guardianships, adoptions, marriage licenses, wrongful death, abuse, neglect and dependency cases, delinquency, juvenile traffic, truancy and parentage cases.
Williams County Juvenile Court
The Williams County Juvenile Court handles the filing and processing of the following types of matters: juvenile delinquency and unruly cases; juvenile traffic offenses; abuse, neglect and dependency cases; truancy, paternity, custody and child support actions; failure to send child(ren) to school (Adults) cases; and contributing to the delinquency/unruliness of a minor (Adults) cases.
The Williams County Juvenile Court is staffed by Court Administrator, Ronda Muehlfeld; Deputy Clerks, Cam Miller, Melissa Short, Susan Sheets and Alexandra Jacoby; Administrative Assistant/Deputy Clerk, Annie Zervos; Interim FIC Coordinator, Alexandra Jacoby; Probation/Truancy Officers, John Karacson and Michael Polley; Probation Clerk, Alaina Russell; and Diversion Officer, Gary Mohre.
Williams County Probate Court
The Williams County Probate Court handles all filings and hearings for the admission of wills; the administration of decedents’ estates; applications for and administration of guardianships and conservatorships; adoptions; adult protective services actions; birth registrations and corrections; complaints for civil actions; disinterment’s; mental illnesses; minor settlement cases; name changes; testamentary trusts; and wrongful death actions. Additionally, this Court issues marriage licenses.
The Williams County Probate Court is staffed by Court Administrator, Ronda Muehlfeld; Deputy Clerk/Guardianship Liaison, Krista Wright; and Administrative Assistant/Deputy Clerk, Annie Zervos.
